Answer #8

ARGH! you use internet exploder? Install a real browser, buddy. Chrome, Firefox, Opera…

SCNR But, seriously. You could try

  • clicking through the “view” menu. Maybe there is a menu bar that you accidentally blanked out.
  • checking whether some automatic windows update has changed your internet exploder to a newer, redesigned version.
  • using the “help” function of the program, type “refresh button” and see whether it mentions any way to get the thing back.
Answer #9

Does the stop button show up there? Try clicking it to make sure the browser is not still trying to load a page, and see if it changes into a refresh button (as happens on other browsers where the two functions are combined into a single button). Otherwise, try updating to see if Windows recognizes a problem with your current version and directs you to a new one (or an unbroken copy of the same one). Meanwhile, you can also use the F5 key to refresh.

Thank you ( I know, people give me a hard time for my ways like using internet explorer. I just stay as low tech as possible. Don’t know why I’m that way)

Answer #11

No stop button, but f 5 is pretty easy. I think this thing updated itself (without asking me of course) I can’t understand why things that are working fine can’t just be left alone. The latest and greatest isn’t always the way to go in my book, I prefer to keep it simple. Thanks Hayyim
