Redness of sunburn

How do I get rid of the redness and iriation of sunburn when my face peels my face is peeling and I tried cover up but it didnt work and I really really wan t to get rid of the redness on my skin but still kind of have a tan skin conplection

Answer #1

Use lotions made for the face, so you don’t clog your pores or irritate your face.

Make sure to use moisturizing toners, as well, to speed up your skin’s healing time.

Put a small dab of Aquaphor on the most damaged parts of your face.

If you got burned, then you obviously have delicate, fair skin.

Use sunscreen very often, and use a bronzing powder once your skin heals.

Answer #2

dont put make up on it silly, lots of baby lotion, any lotions except glittery ones and scented ones, after sun is good too, plus staying cool for a while and not picking at your face and skin while it is peeling you can cause nasty scars, I got one on my nose from picking the peelings. Lots of cold-ish baths soothed my skin when I was badly burnt. Best of luck for healing =] hope I helped! x

Answer #3

hmm putting makeup on it would most probably just irritate the skin further, you should buy some after sun lotion, should hopefully help get rid of those symptoms quicker.
