Which record labels accept demo's? (Pop, R&B)

Not every label has ‘demo policy’ on their web site, this is how I understand that they don’t accept unsolicited demos.I need your help guys.I still keep searching for record labels that really listen to every demo they receive. Maybe somebody knows what labels accept demos. Styles: Pop,RnB. I’ll be very thankful for any advise.

Try to google different versions of this: ‘accepts unsolicited demos’ and you’ll probably find a few lists of either people you can call to turn your work from unsolicited into solicited, or lists of studios who will accept unsolicited material. Solicited just means the A&R guy said you could send him your stuff…you don’t need an agent - just call them and tell them how awesome you are and ask for 5 minutes of their time to listen to two of your tracks - if they say yes, you’re no longer unsolicited and can send them your stuff in the way they ask you to and they’ll listen to it. Make sure to label it as ‘requested material’ so they know they said yes to you.

Most of the major labels do not accept unsolicited material for legal reasons, but they’ll occasionally have an open time where you can send one, you just have to keep an eye out. Most of the ones you’ll find that accept unsolicited material will be smaller studios who are still trying to build their talent-base, which, unfortunately, means you’ll probably end up covering much more of the cost of producing an album than if you were to sign a major label.

Just do some research. It’s really not that hard to find information about this stuff. If you really don’t want to just pick up the phone and call some people - try submitademo.com for free, http://www.funadvice.com/r/3jt6sc3ukq will accept unsolicited demos for just over $5 per song, or taxi.com will help you, but will cost you $300 for a year (I’ve not used this yet, but really does sound promising – even if they can’t get you a deal, they will be able to help you progress in your music by giving you quality feedback if you’re just not ‘there’ yet).

There is a whole lot of information out there on google, just keep searching.
