Does anyone know the reason why Lee Harvey Oswald wanted to kill the president?

By all indications, Oswald was being handled by the Office of Naval Intelligence and groomed to play an unsuspecting patsy role in the assassination of JFK. As an agent for the CIA and ONI, Oswald was actively involved in staging the frame up while publicly supporting the pro-Castro Fair Play for Cuba Committee. New Orleans District Attorney, Jim Garrison, made the discovery that an FPCC leaflet distributed by Oswald had his office’s address stamped on it and the address was shared by an avowed anti-Castro intelligence asset, former FBI man Guy Bannister. It appears that Oswald was creating counter intelligence propaganda that would incriminate Castro via the FPCC following the assassination, but was unaware that he would be the fall man. Once the pieces began to fall into place, Oswald figured out the duplicity and bolted. He was ultimately arrested and then killed by the underground mobster, Jack Ruby, before he could tell his side of the story. I believe that Oswald was complicit in the conspiracy, but I don’t think he fired a shot.

JFK was killed because he would not invade Cuba, he would not create a de facto war in Vietnam, and he sought to cripple the Federal Reserve by issuing US Treasury silver certificates.
