readdd! I need hair advice.

okay I have like choopy layers and side-swept bangs. im dying my hair blonde(at a salon) but people say no dont dye it just get a million highlights and it will look the same as dying it. but I dont think it will. will it?? helppp!

Either way when your hair grows out all the hair dye will be at the bottom. Highlights or no highlights its going to need to be re dyed.

Well if it looks exactly the same why not do what YOU want and not what OTHERS think you should get. Make yourself happy, and do what you’d like. It’s your hair after all, not theirs.

because it if it looks the same with a bunch of highlights when it grows out it doesnt look as bad

Apparently it does. Many people are saying the same thing to me as I’m hoping to get my hair professional dyed blonde too. I spoke to a hairdresser on the phone today and she recommended highlights as it gives the same effect as all-blonde hair if they do them throughout, and not just on the top layer. It doesn’t ruin your hair as much either.
