What are some good quality headphones for under £30?

Im looking at a pair of headphones from Skullcandy but I’ve heard that they aren’t so good. I just want to use them for when I’m walking to college, so basically for everyday use. What would you recommend? :D

Answer #1

Skull candy is horrid. It’s expensive and not worth the money. They’ll break in a week.

I find Sony to be the best brand. I use Sony ones now and they’re good quality. They also haven’t broken yet and it’s been 2 months which is a record for me, sooo~

What ones from Sony do you use?

My wife’s Sony MDR-EX57LP earbuds sound very good for $40US so they should be under £30 in the UK. I have Klipsch S4 earbuds for my iPhone that sound amazing but at $80US might be a little above your budget. At the low end I have some Panasonic Sportwrap headphones for working out that stay on my ear when I’m running, sound pretty good for < $20US and I don’t have a heart attack if I break or loose them at the gym.

I use the ones that come with the iPods (which I think also sell separately for about $30 (I don’t know how many pound that would be), unless of course you find them on the ‘net for cheaper)… I really like them because 1) they have good sound quality, 2) they’re tough (mine last for months and they go through a lot of abuse from me and my family), and 3) they have a volume button/microphone/play/stop button near the top which comes in real handy when I gotta hide my iPod from my teachers, lol.

Answer #7

I have a pair of Skull candy ear buds that I rather like. They are like putting in ear plugs and you don’t really hear anything else but the music. Sound quality is pretty decent too. Not sure how much they were tho, a friend gave them to me because they didn’t fit her ears well. Think she said they were about $30.

Answer #8

skull candy suck i have a pair and they break within 2 weeks so you dont want to buy that brand :)
