Puppy Training...
Okay, I have a little weiner dog, he will be one in July…I am attampting to train him…and I was wondering should I try to train him with treats or not?
If you’re trying to teach tricks…and he’s food motivated (some dogs aren’t)…but if he is, then by all means use treats…AND lots and lots of praise!! The tone of your voice (happy, excited, etc), can be a real motivator too. Don’t worry if the neighbors think you’re nuts…LOL…all mine got used to it with me, and now talk that way to their dogs, too… :)
