When looking at a promotion or sale what catches your eye more, a percent off or a dollar amount off?

Answer #1

a dollar amount off definetly catches my attention first.

Answer #2

The dollar amount off definitely. : )

Answer #3

What is a present off. Oh never mind you mean percent as in 40% OFF. I think it depend on the person and the store. Those red ones that they have at Target are percent off and sometimes I go to Target just to look for those. But they are only for clearance items and start at 15% and they percent goes up weekly until the item is gone. The max percent off is 75%. But if it is on new items I think I prefer the amount of money off.

Answer #4

Sorry I meet percentage, oops.

Answer #5

Weirdly enough a percent off (dollar off always seem to be less than the percent off, but I always calculate the amount quickly in my head).

Answer #6

I would rather see a percentage off, it just looks like you get a better deal.

Answer #7

i like to see the percentage off. just to see how much it is actually on sale for. and also i can figure the discount out fast in my head haha. seeing the percentage you can tell if its a good deal or not, with the dollar amount people see “oh 10 bucks off” great deal but in reality depends on the original price. 10 bucks can be a huge amount but at the same time it can be so little.

Answer #8
