Prevent Alcohol Blackouts

Ever since I first blacked out due to alcohol it seems that it has become extremely more likely that I blackout, other then drinking less or drinking over a greater amount of time, is there anything that will overall make me less likely to blackout, such as not drink for a long period of time?

Answer #1

I know you want to stop blacking out. But that is like asking how to prevent hangovers if you drink too much, it’s not possible. It’s also a dangerous sign of alcohol abuse or addiction. Instead of drinking less, you’re actively trying to control the damage. That’s a red flag right there…

Answer #2

at your age I would go see a doctor, and if I were to black out everytime I drank or even just everyonce in awhile, UMMM I think I would not drink

Answer #3

well like I stated I am looking for information regarding overall resistances to blackouts, I am fully aware that if I do not drink or drink less it will result in a reduction in the number of blackouts

Answer #4

You can’t prevent them any other way than drinking less. If you are blacking out - that is a FREAKING SIGN that you are over indulging. You need to learn how to drink responsibly, black outs are very dangerous, as you dont know what you did, who you did something with. Not very smart.

Answer #5

dont drink in the first place that might help adn if not you need a doctor

Answer #6

ummm… DON’T DRINK?!!!

Answer #7

u can drink till you blackout and prevent a hangover, I do it all the time, just drink equal water as alcohol as you drink, and you can drink as quick as you like. I found taking 1000mg or more a Vitamin B12 helps my blackouts be less often and take longer to happen when I get em.
