though everyone s dffernt, pregnancy symptom dont usually start showing untill around a month or more into the pregancy and yes, she could be pregnant if shes had sex its pretty common for the period to come (though lightly) if it was due soon after sex tell her to take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after she had sex to find out or see a dcotor for a blood test for quicker and more accurate results

She may have had implantation spotting, instead of her period. The first sign I had was tender breasts.
