pregnant teen..

I’m 17 years old and I just found out I’m pregnant.. my parents don’t allow me to date and after this I am in “jail” so to speak.. I know I’ll see him again but I really need the support of the father right now and he wants to be here for me. my parents unfortunately don’t understand this.. how can I convince my parents that I need this and it’s the right thing after going against them with all of this??

Answer #1

yeah just give them some time. they’ll come around. Tell your parents that there beautiful grand child will be born and they should show love and support so you want stress over this. just have a nice serious talk with them.

Answer #2

Your baby needs a father and I guess its going to take them some time, I mean their teenage daughter being pregnant is a lot to talk in for them right now. But eventually they’ll come together a bit more and realize the reality of this situation.

First of all congradulation planned or unplanned God has blessed you. I want you to realize that you are very lucky that the father plans to take an active role. You both need each other, a similar expiriance happened with my sister, what impressed my mother (father passed away) was my now brother in law was with my sister when she broke the news. If your boyfriend is there when you tell your parents, your boyfriend will be with you untill the day he dies. When my wife and I found out that we were going to have a child it was the best day of our lives. But it was also going to take work and we needed each other there durring the pregnancy. Please keep me posted on how everything goes along I will pray for you. Feel free to add me as a friend if you have any questions my wife will probably be able to help.
