Sometimes you cant tell unless they actually tell you they are pregnant. Its best to not make assumptions, as it can be very embarrassing if you are wrong.

Every woman shows differently during pregnancy, and the “hard belly” usually doesnt even occur until 6-7 months into a pregnancy. Anytime before that you could easily mistake a pregnant woman for someone who has eaten too many doughnuts and vice versa, thats why its best to not make assumptions by appearance alone, because we all know what we call people who make assumptions…asses.
