Am I pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for over a year, but not much physical has happened until the last month or so. I’ve just turned 18, and my boyfriend is 21, we are really happy together and have a really amazing, honest relationship. Last month I decided I was ready to lose my virginity and he made it really special for me, and although it hurt a lot, I really liked it. When we were having sx we were careful so that he didnt cum inside me, we ended up having sx about 8/9 times that night. Now nearly 4 weeks on, im 8 days late for my period and have been sick and moody lately. I have told my boyfriend, and although he wants children, he didnt want them just yet, much the same as me. He told me if we did have this baby he would support me all the way. We are not chavs, He is in a good stable job and im a college student wanting to progress onto uni in september. Im a part of a loving family with many siblings but my mum and dad are quite strict with all the boy stuff,I know im 18 and can make my own decisions but my parents do control a lot of my life. I am going to take a test as soon as I can, I just read on the internet that some of the tests dont work as effectivly until you are 2 weeks late, is this true? Do you think I am pregnant? How do I tell my parents? Thanks x

Something I should have said before, My doc has tried me on a few different types of birth control pills. Im allergic to a lot of medication so I have to be careful what I take because it can cause a severe allergic reaction. A few months I had the injection and had to go to hospital because the reaction was so severe. Im not irresponsible or anything. And I didnt like the use of condoms cause my boyfriend said he didnt get as much pleasure with them. And I wantedhim to enjoy it as much as I did. So thats why we used nothing. Sorry I should have put that in the problem. thanks x

You should find out if you are pregnant first - then take it from there. Pregnancy tests are usually good at the minimum on the first day that you miss your period. There are a few tests that are extra sensitive that can be used sooner, but may not be as reliable as if you were to wait.

The withdrawal method is not a reliable method of birth control. So I suggest you visit your health care physician or a gynecologist to discuss different birth control options and start with annual pelvic exams.

Well, if you guys werent using a condom and he was just pulling out before he cummed inside of you and went at it again, there could still be enough cum on his penis that went inside of you when you guys went back at it again that it couldve gotten you pregnant. Well I’ve never been pregnant before so I cant help you with the parents thing sorry :)
