What is my full potential for growth?

I am 13 and I’m so far 5’2 1/2’’ My dad is 6’2 1/2’’ and my mom is 5’1’’, so I’m not sure how height is going to turn out. I want to grow to be 5’7’’ and above, as I really want to be a runway model. i haven’t really gone through a giant growth spurt yet, so…yeah Thank you!

I recommend that you do not build your hopes up too high, as the statistical evidence suggests that your adult height potential is in the vicinity of 5’5”.

The link below goes to a page that gives the formula usually used to predict the growth potential for children given the parents’ adult heights. These are the calculations based on the information you give:

Father’s height = 6’ 2.5” = 189.2 cm; Mother’s height = 5’ 1” = 155 cm; Average of parents’ heights = (189.2+155)2 = 172.1 cm Female gender adjustment = 172.1 - 7 = 165.1 cm = 5’ 5”

Your height at 13 y.o. does nothing to suggest anything significantly different. However, if you have only just turned 13, and have not yet experienced the usual adolescent growth spurt, then it is reasonable to assume you may grow to 5’ 6”.

OK, I am not going so far as to say you can’t achieve a height of 5’ 7” or more, just that is not likely that you will.

your only 13 girls grow till there 18 so you have a ways to go and mmm it honestly depends who you take after ha my mom is 5’6 and my dads 6’3 im my moms height and my brothers my dads height ha just depends like you can skip a generation to like my grandpa is 6’5 so my brother can probably b that height if he grows more so all depends and 5’7 for a model isent tall most are like 5’11
