Can I be pregnant or is it effects from the morning after pill?

Am I pregnant? I know lots of girls ask this but this is pretty serious to me. I had sex about a month ago and the condom split, so I took the morning after pill. im really not sure that I took it right, although he didnt come I took it as a precaution. since then I was a bit drunk and we had sex breifly without a condom for about 5 minutes, he didnt come then either. but now im 3 days late, is this because the morning after pill has messed up my period or because I could be pregnant, I have stomach cramps and my boobs hurt and everything is going like normal apart from no period. im really worried and im sitting important exams at the moment. can someone please help me? I just need some reassurance :( xxx

I’ve taken the morning after pill and yes it does make your breasts tender and can make you nauseous. It’s a high dosage of Birth Control. Unfortunately some side effects of the morning after pill (ok MOST side effects) are also symptoms of pregnancy. So you’re kind of in a waiting game.

If he didn’t ejaculate at all then I’d say you should be fine as long as the Morning After Pill was taken within 72 hours of the said intercourse.

Your stressing and combination with the Pill could also be causing the delay of your period. I’m sure Aunt Flo will be on her way in a few days. If not then take a pregnancy test.

This question is important to a lot of girl. Every girls that ask it, I’d say.

A pregnancy test should clear this right up. Also, birth control.
