Trisha this is a very important for student who are currently in graduating process. I myself studying in accounting and sometime i get afraid thinking about it whether some one will hire me or not. Because of the availability of many applicants for a certain vacancy now it has become difficult to get a job .

I have discussed about the topic to my professor and he has given some valuable suggestion. Getting a degree is not sufficient enough to get a job. Company prefers experiences more than academic transcripts. At the beginning a student may have to accept underrated job to acquire some experiences but as he become an experienced employee with a good degree then he doesn’t need to find a job rather companies will find you.

If you can show enough experiences and skills , there is high chance to be accepted. Recently a job consultant agency came to my university and gave some valuable Tips. They said if you don’t find any job then apply to a company and tell them you will work for them 3-6 months without any payment. If they like your Job they will hire you for sure. An organisation doesn’t prefer new student because at the beginning they have to teach the student how to work in real life. but as you get experiences chances will be higher.

So be patient and try your best. Best of luck :)

You are young and just starting out. It’s fine to work for awhile at a job in a different field from what you studied. You might find that you can bring your knowledge and skills into that job in unexpected ways. If not, it still gives you the financial stability to continue and deepen your search for a job in your field, while you are working there.

If your field is a fast-changing one (like technology or finance), make sure you keep up with current developments by reading the trade journals. Focus on expanding your network of professional contacts by scheduling informational interviews with people who can answer your questions about finding work in your field. Don’t ask them for a job, but ask them everything you can think of that could be helpful to you, including who else they can recommend for you to speak with.

You are much more likely to get a suitable job - and a better one - through that network of contacts than by just sending out resumes.

Meanwhile, develop your other interests, too! Start to build an independent adult life - it’s not all about work, you know! {;^)

Be positive about to day, you will have nothing to worry about tomorrow. :-D

No one knows what the future has in store. Keep applying and meet lots of people in the field you are interested in, they can help you in the future.
