She's probably madly in love with you and your compressed mom anyways, but you might want to stop being friends with her because she knows you're from a "common wealth" and that her country totally "pwns" yours everyday of your life. If you're willing to take that risk though, go for it.

after we broke up things were ok for a while we were still friends and i thought hay your bound to be a straind in your friendship and things will be weird for a while ill say they didnt get better and we arnt as close as we were just before we went out any more so make sure u stay with her and stuff doesnt get seriously messed up cuase if it does youve not only lost your girl friend that u love youve lost your best friend
sweety, a true soul mate always begens with a best friend, so if your best friend feels the same way about you then what's the problem, you both know so much about eachother that if one feels bad you know exsacly what will make her/him feel better. best friends make love last. about the gf, you say you love her, but does she love you? if not, just let her down slowly, she might cry, but everyone does when they break up. but if she's in love with you, then you have a problem, you have to choose, cant have both,just be alone and think about it, wich one you have more in comon, which one is eaiser to talk to, one who has more understanding, you know all the basics, but good luck.
