you mix 2 substances in a beaker and expect them to undergo a chemical change. the temperature of the mixture does not change. Has a chemical change occured? explain
If you mix two things together and it produces a new thing a chemical reaction has taken place.
But if you mix two things and all it does it change shape or state...then it's not a chemical reaction.
So if the temperature changes but it doesn't change into something new only physically different than a chemical reaction HAS NOT taken place.
Those are all signs of a chemical reaction but none of them necessarily have to be present to indicate one. Though it most likely did not occur if there were no noticable changes. Check the density if you have the means to.
lol really trying to get people to answer your homework tisk tisk lol the answer should be found in your book but you need more info to determine if a chem change has occurred that is your answer. good luck
chemical change has accured., for example you mixed two different color and it reacted as changing its color into one different among them.
did it bubble at all? is it the same color? if the temp didnt change and there were no bubbles and no change in color then no
