Please help me!!!

So my b-day was Tuesday, and I got Jonas Brothers concert tickets which I am very thankful for. But all I really wanted was a dog. I’ve wanted a dog for forever and this birthday I really just felt that I was mature enough to take take care of this dog. Today the dog id going to the shop and I just ant help it I just HAVE TO get that dog. my mom says that it is a phase but I know it is not. I know when I go through phases and this is definitly not one!! My mom and dad don’t want the responsibility but I do!!!

please tell me what I should do!!

Everybody thinks that they really want a pet, and they think that it is not just a phase, and it may not be, but you have to respect your parents, they know that you want one, but they must have their reasons for not wanting one, it really isn’t fair on them.

Just think, when you move out in a couple of years time, they are going to be left to care for a dog they never really wanted, and that is not fair for them.

A lot of people aren’t as lucky as you to get something as big as that for their birthday, so I think that you should be thankful, you are a lot better off then a lot of people.

I really want a dog, and I have done for the last five years, but I respect my mum’s decision to not get one, because I know that she has her reasons, and that it is too much stress for her and that it is not fair to leave her with the dog when I move out.

Sure, I didn’t think like this in the beginning, a begged her loads, but now that I have grown up a little bit, I realise that it wouldn’t be fair on the dog if not everyone in the family wanted it.

at the end of the day its noy your house there for you have no say! when you ahve your own place then you can fill it with dogs!

to curb the desire of having a dog why dont you Volunteer at a dogs shelter or become a dog walker and earn some money!!!

if you havent had a dog before then spending some time with them would be a good idea!! they are hard work and take a lot to take care off and money… you cant just go out all day and all night or go on holiday when ever you want… think about it maybe your mum and dad seeing you becoming a dog walker or working ata dog shelter might change their minds!
