Im pregnant sooo could he go to jail for that?

My pyscho a$$ grandma called my boyfriend and told him were not aloud to be or talk together anymore and she said if me and him talk she is gonna call the cops and tell them that teenage rape or something like that when im 14 and he is 17 could they throw him in jail?? Btw; im pregnant sooo could he go to jail for that?

It all depends on which state you are in. Some states allow minors your age to have sex with someone as long as the older person is less than 4 years older than you. If you are in one of those states he can’t go to jail. If you are not in one of those state he can go to jail.

Depending where you live, in some areas, sex under 16 is illegal. Just talk to your grandma. Tell her that you need him in your life and your baby needs him…she should be happy if he’s taking care of you and loves you.

he is not considered an adult so no they cant throw him in jail.

you have to be 18 for that.

besides. she cant say it was rape cause im sure you would testify against that. you would say it wasnt rape and that you both wanted to do it.

now nieghter of you will go to jail.

and just cause your pregnant doesnt mean anything. it was still breaking the law cuase your not atleast 17 yet, but, they will probably call it a misdeamenor the most, they probably wont care.

your grandma is old school. doesnt know the law anymore.

most area’s do find sex illegal with ages under 16. and considering you’re 14 and he’s 17, it is considered rape. it’s called statutory rape and yes he can most likely go to jail for it. with you being pregnant, it isn’t a reason for him going to jail. but if you’re not getting married anytime soon, there’s always child support. hehe
