Answer #7

Woodchips are actually quite good for preventing serious injuries when children fall from heights. In my area safe rubber surfaces are more popular but there are still woodchip playgrounds.

Answer #8

What happen to pea gravel??? Thats always fun to pick out of your knees :P.

Answer #9

Probably cheaper & less of a mess. Woodchips are easier to get off of things then sand, & also with sand people put their ciggarretts in it & little kids may find them. Also most sand parks i’ve been in theres beer bottles burried in it. & sand gets really really hot.

Answer #10

I think it’s cheap, good looking and easy to replace .
