Are you planning on buying a kindle now that the ipad is available?

Hm, Ericson didn’t re-upload that I can find the pics of his ipad :( The screen on one of those is same as computer…thus, my question :) And yes there is a kindle app, but I find I have trouble with screens after too long in front of them. Not so with the kindle.

I don’t own either, so I would likely buy the iPad just so I could use its other features. Books aren’t my thing, so I couldn’t imagine myself staring at the screen for too long :) I research on the comp all day anyway, so my eyes are somewhat used to it, as I would assume yours are. Seeing that I don’t have a few hundred bucks lying around though, my answer may actually be “neither” for the time being…haha. Maybe a birthday present from people who love me. Hmmm, I’ll just have to find someone like that…

The downside is tat you can’t read the iPad in strong sunlight. But otherwise the book app is fantastic!

Amazon also has a Kindle app for iPad.

I no longer read my kindle.

Well I own a kindle and don’t plan on getting an ipad because I can just get a netbook which does more stuff cheaper than an ipad.

Yo, Ericson, send the un-used Kindle my way! I left mine on the flight back from Florida after Christmas – when it was my Christmas present :( Left it right in that little behind the seat pocket on the plane. Sigh.

I have had a Kindle for some time now, and have recently bought an iPad. If you just read, save money and buy a Kindle or a Nook. If you like apps and stuff,get the iPad. They are both great products though!
