pink toe spider

need some help my spider has not eating for two weeks or moved in 3 days it is not on its back it looks as if it is dead but need some advice on this

Answer #1

do not touch it remoze all food from cage give it a week befor touching it if it is going throug a molt (shedding its skin) it is extreamly vulnerble and its exoskeliton has yet to harden check your temps and always give your tarantulas a hide so they will not get stressed.

Answer #2

just leave it alone as it is probably molting…they will stop eating a couple of weeks before they begin then they do end up on their back… but if you disturb it during this time it could become stressed and begin to molt to fast and end up bleeding to death so I would just leave it alone for now…also you could learn more about this on the web… I have a rose haired tarantula and have done a lot of research on them and you should too

Answer #3

are you serious sounds to me like that spider is dead. Sorry but anything that doesn’t move for 3 days while on it’s back is dead. maybe you should try poking it with a stick to see if it moves
