What are some ways to get rid of Pimples/acne

Ok so apart from paying for expensive products which mayor may not work, what are some ways to get rid of pimples? and how can one avoid them in the first place?

I know of one way that seems to help for me and that is swimming in the sea for 15 mins or so. Its just NZ seas are cold as. Im just by the beach so its easy for me. Anyone else got some advice on both removal and prevention?

First, ignore people who tell you “don’t put a zit”… you CAN pop your zits. I always pop mine when I get them and I don’t have ANY scars at all, so no worries there. The thing is, once you pop it and the stuff comes out, leave it go. Check the following day and if there’s still stuff, pop again. As for stuff to use on your face… I use Noxzema and Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub. Right on the Blackhead stuff’s bottle it says “Gently exfoliates to lift away dirt and oil”. They are both cheap… here in Ohio the taxes is 7%… and you can get them BOTH for only $10-$12 WITH taxes. Not too badly priced really. Don’t use them directly after eachother to avoid causing any skin irratations. Use one, then a few hours later, use the other. Hope that helps you!

Watch what you eat. Stay away from oily stuff like fried food and fast food. Wash your face (not TOO often) twice a day morning and night should do it. I personally only wash my face in the morning and I’m pimple free.

My husband and I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub. We use it Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. If we use it more then that our skin stops reacting to it. But it works really well for my husbands back and gentle enough to work on my face. I get maybe two zits a month. But I also don’t wear any makeup.

Prevention: Buy a cheap exfoliator such as St Ives Apricot facial scrub - use it daily. Also at Bath and Body Works they sell this great product for reducing shine and oil on your face. - agian, cheap and effective.

There is no cure for acne, which sucks. You can manage it with OTC products containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. They say food does not exacerbate acne but I would avoid white products (sugar, flour, etc.). I took accutane (prescription) several years ago and it made a big improvement. Another option would be to see an esthetician for specialized facials and extractions. Avoid the sun (makes acne worse) and antibiotics. Hope this helps!

Food dosent have nuthin to do with pimples its hormones.chang your pillow cases evry two weeks…try the apricot scuba frm st.Ives it works great and for pimples on your face now try toothpaste it dries them out,but only put toothpaste on the bump don t rub it on your face like lotion.some hair products clog your pores aswell if your hair is in your face a lot.try not to cover bumps with makeup a lot and if your do try a skin clearing formula.
