Being insecure is killing me! Everyday I wake up hating myself. I wish there was some kind of pill to get rid of insecurity
Are you sure you are not suffering from depression. One of the key symptoms of depression is feeling insecure. I had it most of my life until I got treatment for it. Best thing is to speak to your doctor and/or a physiologist - stay away from psychiatrists for a while otherwise you'll end up on a bunch of useless pills. Also try and speak to a friend or family member about how you feel and get people to help you get out of your comfort zone i.e. new experiences to build some confidence. It'll be scary at first, but will get better later.
Try to block out what makes you insecure about yourself , if its based on how you look and how people may think of you , you should ignore them and be yourself , the way i look at things is say i went out today in a big pink fluffy suit and people were mean to me about it and tried to put me down about it , if you think about it , the things they say/do to make me feel insecure wont affect me in a week, year / 10 years time so just do what you wanna do and don't feel insecure about yourself. Always be happy :).
You have not mention what insecurities that is making you hate yourself but there is always professional help out there, why not see a doctor who can then refer to you a shrink. You should never let things wear you down that much that you hate yourself as there is always someone that can help you.
