Can you get a piercing at 15?

Some shop’s don’t do it unless you’re 16 though, just check their website and they should say. I got to darkstar and they only pierce 16+, even with a parent.

Usually most places will pierce anywhere but nipples or genitals on anyone under 16 as long as your parent goes with you. Depending on where you live you’ll need evidence. Just give the place you’re going to a call and ask them.

I don’t know about other places, but in Idaho and Colorado it’s illegal for them to give you body piercings besides ears if you are under sixteen, even with parental consent.

In the US you can only get piercings on your ears until you are 16. That’s even if your parents say you can. It is a law. Any shop that will do it is breaking the law. Just wait the extra year and keep yourself safe when getting it done. Always check out a shop before letting them put needles through you. I am a piercer and you wouldn’t believe how dirty some places are and how they don’t follow rules and regulations.
