When a person gets shot and dies instantly do you think they feel any pain?

I’d like to think not, but they probably do feel something. But then they’re dead, so it doesn’t really matter.

Well, I think that, if the shoot was shocking, they did not feel the pain-more like a surprising buzz or smt, but pain PAIN, not.

i think yes they would feel it, but if they die instantly they wouldn’t have to suffer through the pain long.

I’d say that they feel the shot itself when it happens. After a few seconds shock sets in, however, and there is a slight period of time where pain can’t or shouldn’t, to my understanding, be felt.

Most likely if they are shot in the head, anywhere but the front center (nose, eyes, forehead) they die almost instantly but the front center is known as the No-Reflex Killzone so they feel nothing when shot there..

It probably depends where they are shot at. There are people who have survived gun shots who didn’t even know they were shot at first. According to them it didn’t hurt until later. A police officer here in my town got shot and somehow didn’t bleed, he didn’t really hurt and just thought he hit his head on his trucks side mirror. He didn’t realize until the next day that he was actually shot. He was very lucky that he didn’t die and doing fine now.

If a person is shot and dies instantly I doubt they would feel it. There are 1 or 2 spots where if you are shot just right in them your body doesn’t even react. I have heard snipers are trained to where that spot is in case of a hostage situation. Normally if you shot someone anywhere else their figure will jerk and and pull the trigger - killing he hostage if they have a gun pointed at them. But in just the right spot they drop like their strings where cut. So I imagine if you where shot there you wouldn’t even feel it - specially if you where shot from a distance say with a bullet that travels at super sonic speeds. Wouldn’t even know what hit you.
