Like how is the possible? I was watching this show last night. I missed half of it cause i fell asleep lol. But anyway,these people get married and have sex and apperently like the woman was allergic to her hubby's sperm! 0_o ....How is that possible?
did you know that if a mans sperm gets into his bloodstream, he will have an allergic reaction to them? The sperm have antigens in them which can set off the bodies immune response, especially if they get into the bloodstream.
If I remember correctly it is because semen/sperm contains protein (amongst other things) and certain people are allergic to certain strains of proteins. That is why a woman can be allergic to her man's sperm.
True,but then i could never get preggo >_< lol. But i'm not gonna worry about it right now. it just freaked me out to hear about that on tv. I feel bad for people that go through that.
The same way it possible that people are allergic to anything else...water, grass, sunlight, nuts, etc. There are all types of people out there with strange allergies.

in the unlikely event you are allergic to sperm, there is always the option of having the sperm injected directly into the egg
it just like how someone can be allergic to anything else. your boby over reacts to things it "doesnt like".
actually, the female reproductive tract is a sperm killing machine! Thats why men need so much of them!
