Periods and pregnancy

So umm.. I have never had regular periods. So that idea is out the window. Im 26 and have maybe 6 periods a year and sometimes not at all. I very much want to become pregnant.. How will I be able to tell without going to the doctor? Its been about 2 weeks since I last had sex.. . Will a home pregnancy test be able to tell? And when is it the best time to have sex to get pregnant?

Answer #1

Your gynecologist should be able to help you out. It’s hard to say when you ovulate… it could be right before your period or it could be a few weeks before, considering how irregular you are. He or she could tell you when your best chances are, and if they think you’d have an easier time of it if you saw a fertility doctor. Good luck having a baby! :)

Answer #2

have sex when a fertility test says your at your most fertile. good luck
