Period Troubles

Okay, I’m on my period and I was going to the bathroom today. I wiped my vagina and on the toilet paper within the blood was little crawly white things! They were almost microscopic and reselmbled the shape of a worm. They are crawling around and it is freaking me out! Someone please reply to this because I have no idea what to do. I’m not hurting or anything, but I’m really scared because I don’t know what these ‘critters’ or things are!

Answer #1

Is this a serious question?

Those are maggots. Commonly found on trash bins and things that are decaying.

Were they on the toilet paper before you wiped? if so, check yourself for any more.

Go to the doctor immediately. Maggots can signify several things, most commonly beyond-poor hygiene or something rotting inside of you. This is not something to ignore, regardless of the embarrassment.

Often this level of poor hygeine can be indicative of neglect in young children. If your mother/father/guardian won’t take you to the ER, go yourself, or call your local Child Protective Services. Get treatment.

Answer #2

They aren’t maggots!

You probably have pin worms…they usually live in the anal area, but can migrate to the vagina.

You can get a medicine behind the counter at any pharmacy…just tell the pharmacist you need something for pin worms.

Answer #3

corneliusfeline, if I can offer you a small piece of advice, you really need to read more and watch tv less. If I had any sort of authority over your life, I would chain you to a table in the library for at least a week with a set of encyclopedia before you would be allowed back on the internet to display the level of ignorance as you have today.
