Percing my own belly

How do I peirce my own belly without it hurting

Answer #1

Any piercing will have some amount of pain - it’s a needle going through your skin doll.

You don’t sound like you know too much about piercings - so I would suggest getting a professional to do it for you. It’s not expensive and they know what they are doing.

you shouldn’t, whether you can do it without hurting or not. unless you are proffesionally trained, then don’t! the belly button piercing is a very delicate procedure, and for the sake of £25 get it done somewhere proper!

mm I say don’t do it yourself! if you do, it will hurt, professionally, it won’t hurt as much. && ESPECIALLY if your parents don’t want you to get it done cause I did my own nose after my mom told me not to, like 3 months ago, && she still doesn’t completely trust me with like anything. but your belly button doesn’t really hurt unless it gets infected. so no matter how you do it clean it a lot!

Don’t do it. Seriously, it’s not smart or safe. Any piercing should be done PROFESSIONALLY. That way there’s not a risk of stuff like infection. If your afraid it will hurt, don’t worry. The pain involved just depends on how much pain you personally can handle. Most of the time it’s not near as painful as some people make it out to be. If you get it done professionally, you’ll be glad you listened and didn’t do it yourself later, trust me. If you need anything else, let me know.

It is going to cause pain, but if you mean without it getting infected, here’s how:

1.Use a hollow point needle. (NOT a sewing needle, safety pin, or whatever else you can think of)

2.Sterilize everything. (bellybutton, hands, needle, ect)

3.Peirce it. And then leave the needle in for a few minutes (I’m not really sure why, but it helps) *When Piercing DON’T stop pushing and then go at it again; Do it and get it done. If you keep stopping it will hurt worse! Also, use one size bigger gauge than you plan on having; it makes it easier to put the ring in. DO NOT let anybody touch it, unless they have washed their hands thoroughly!

4.Put the ring in the hole… Make sure it’s clean, and you might not want to use a dangling ring. Just use something simple.

  1. Keep it clean. Use soap and water. You don’t want to use really harsh cleansers, and don’t over clean. You belly button has to have some bacteria in it so it can build up an immunity, and you don’t want to wash away all of your natural healing agents. So twice a day should do it.

I wish you luck, and remember KEEP IT CLEAN!!!
