Peppery Burning Feeling After Sex

I recently started having a peppery feeling inside my vagina after sex with my husband. This burning does not last and I only feel it when he cums inside me. We don’t use a condom and don’t have rough sex. We’ve been married for just over 3 months and have sex almost everyday. I still feel some pain when sometimes, but it eases during sex. What worries me is the burning sensation I get each time he cums, I feel like he’s pouring chillies in me! When I urinate afterwards I don’t feel it anymore. Could something be wrong with me?

I too have been going through this for the last 3 1/2 years of my marriage. I just found out that it can be from the skin down there being too thin and causing a burning sensation. In my case, because it has been happening for so long, I will also get small cuts from time to time. I brought this to my doctors attention and she said that there is a simple cure for this. I am going in to see her tomorrow and she will prescribe a cream to help build up the skin again. It may take a week or two but what a relief to finally have answers. I guess it is pretty common but we don’t have to suffer in silence. How grateful I am that something as simple as a cream (I think it is a steroid cream??)will finally allow me to fully enjoy having sex with my husband again. Ask your gyno about this.

your ph level has to do with how much yeast is in your body.. I have the same problem. me and my hubby would do it and when he would cum in me it would burn.. I was recently pregnant but lost it. I’ve been havin yeast infection one after the other. and can get rid of it because my body produces to much of it and that it why I keep having the burning.. yeast also appears on your body in places you sweat. like under your boobs, on your lower back, and your neck.

I just heard about this problem on Loveline. Dr. Drew told the caller that it may be caused by the brand of oral contraception she was taking. Some women are sensitive to the level of hormone in the pill. (I don’t remember if it was the estrogen or progesterone.) Having your doctor change you to another brand might clear up the problem, or using a progesterone (estrogen?) cream might help. Good Luck!!

Answer #5

I don’t have the answer for this but I have been married over 12 years and recently, during my last pregnancy, this started happening to me. I am not on birth control, I had the baby a few monthe ago, and it’s still happening, One blog said something about pH balance. If anyone out there knows the answer then please post it.
