what causes peoples eyes to change colors?

OMG have the same thing going on, they change depending on the light, like mine will be blue with yellow around the pupil during the day and then at night, the right one goes green with a orangey/brown colour around the pupil and sometimes they are both green and other times they are both blue, my eyes are truley unique and im lucky and your eyes sound cool aswell high five to people with quirky eyes (Y) =]

lol i thought everyones eyes change colors but then at school pple were like do u have contacts and i was like no so they would get in my face and look and then they would be like omg ur not lying and i was like of course im not y would i?lol some pple said it can happen if u have 2 different race parents but im not sure about it it doesnt make sence to me

lol i think theres like diffrent types of hazel eyes cuz like mine are green with a little red near the pupil but there can be hazel eyes with blues, yellows, grays, etc. wat color r ur eyes?

my eyes are brown most of the time but then they turn green and hazel and black during the winter but mostly brown

I don’t have hazel eyes, but normally they are are medium-dark shade of blue, but when i get really excited or happy they sometimes changed to like an ice-blue, almost white. My ex-g/f said it was kind creepy :P. If I’m very angry or sad they get dark, approaching almost a midnight blue. And randomly they will get greenish - kind a teal or aqua blue.

So mine seem to be mostly depend on my mood, but all stay within the same color family :P.

My eyes change a lot, too. I don’t have hazel, but I really don’t have a certain eye color. Everyone can never tell me the same color. People have told me I have blue eyes, green eyes, turquoise eyes, gray eyes, and once even purple eyes. However, whenever I look in the mirror, I always see forest green. But no one ever agrees. But I have noticed that whenever I use different color eyeliner people start to agree in my eye color. If I wear black eyeliner, my eyes look light gray. Purple eyeliner, they look dark green. And blue eyeliner, they look dark blue. It’s always interesting when eyes change color. I love it.

lol same with me about the contact thing :L nah i dnt think it does matter about the race, why are you mixed race? i have a cross between my mum and dads eyes but wow do your eyes really go from brown to green?

yes i am mixed race and my eyes to go brown to green its not like super grassgreen just olive mabey?
