most public library DVDs are horribly abused i just tried to watch one this morning and it skipped if people do not pay for something they are more likely to take it for granted, with services like red box and netflix they will ding you for destroying there property so you are more likely to treat a DVD with them with care there fro insuring a better product, plus you have waiting lasts at the library and not nearly as good as a selection that you would have with netflix
The library has a very small selection of movies. My library has mostly educational movies, but they do have some regular horror, comedy, family, drama, action, etc...movies. However, the ones they do have are quite old. They are no where near new releases.
The library doesn't provide the type of movies people want to see. Most of the movies from the library aren't what they want. However, with Netflix, they give you the movie you want.
Libraries are "anchient" now-a-days. No one even knows what one of those are anymore. :D
Probably because it has more movies to choose from, and newer ones as well.
Ours has new movies and if you want a movie they don't have they order it.
My library charges for it's films.
