Do people who move to Australia from the United States have to do anything special?

I’ve wondered for a long time what it takes to move to another country… and picked one that I’ve thought would be nice to live in.

never pick a place to move to unless yuo have visited it. to be able to move/live in another country will require a job in the said country.. the cut off age for australia i think is the mid 40s cus after that you wont be able to earn a gd enough pension to live properly.. of course i might be wrong but thats what it used to be. youll need a visa etc etc

Wow, I never thought of all that. I can’t believe there is an age cut off, but I can see why… I guess unless you have a lot of money. Doesn’t seem like I’ll be moving anywhere else… but at least I can visit! Someday…

Uhm? You cant just move to another country. You need a job, you need a work permit, you need a visa. All of these things are not just available. It costs money to hire a foreigner (work permits are not cheap). So you’d better have some sort of skill that is worth it. Otherwise it is just easier and cheaper to hire someone local.
