why do people judge before knowing why people cut themselves cause i don't like it when lina judges me cutting?

Why do people judge before knowing… and you can pretty much put anything after the statement and you’ll have the same answer. People are judgmental. That’s just human nature. We categorize things for easy and quick processing, and that leads to stereotypes. Cutting has recently come under attack because it is seen as a way to get attention. Or people feel like teens are romanticizing suffering, misery, death etc, when they have no real idea of what it really means.

there is no good healthy reason for cutting, just like a drug addict or alcoholic, it is dangerous, deadly, hurts you and the ones around you. think of the reasons why it is a bad idea it will out wiegh the reasons to do it. Talk with someone now before it gets out of control. You will live with those scars forever.
