Why do people idolize celebrities?

Most celebrities are just talent-less people who get paid millions to do things that are so simple and useless. They think they are someone and treat everyone around them like dirt. I like certain celeb (the ones who are charitable and have talent, are worth their pay, and who provide a reason to be where they are in society), but some celebrities are just famous for, well, being famous. For example Katie Price. Waste of time. She thinks she can model…!! Ugh. So why do we idolize celebs that are famous for doing nothing.

People people are naturally stupid. They think celebrities have everything and their life is perfect, but they don’t even know what perfection is. Perfection is not a huge lump sum of money, having sex with anything in sight, or having people all around the world thinking your cool. Perfection is in your ethics: How do you treat God and how do you treat others.

Because some actually do set good examples.

I for one idolize Lady Gaga. She has actual love for her fans, she cries when she talks about them and gives out food to those who are serious enough to sleep outside her shows just to see her. She set up a campaign for Japan’s earthquake and supports the LGBT community with all her heart.

People just want a role model, someone to look up to. Some celebrities do. Like, Amy Lee never took off her clothes for public and never flunts her money. She’s straight-up talent. Not all celebrities seel-out. I only idolize who are decent. No, they are not perfect but they want change. I support celebrities who HELP people.
