why do people continue to think that remakes of movies are good?

Money.

I don’t think all remakes are bad. I try to keep an open mind and try to enjoy it anyways. For example I thought the Friday the 13th remake was pretty good. Probably better than the original since I found the original very boring

It depends. Sometimes they can be good, sometimes not. For example, the 2005 remake of “King Kong” was good - certainly an improvement.

I haven’t seen the new Karate Kid but I agree. That doesn’t look good. It doesn’t even look like a real remake to me

Matter of opinion. Not all remakes are bad, original movies are always classic and i love them, however, some of them remade with better graphics, technology, etc to me are awesome. As long as they keep to the plot and keep the important parts of the movie in i enjoy them.

but some originals with the crappy video quality make the movie awesome. like umm… well i know none of those star wars movies were remade, but the older ones with that yoda dude as a puppet, that to me seemed to make his character most
