Paypal + visa giftcard

Okay, I dont have a credit card. But I want to buy things over the internet I plan to use PayPal and I was wondering if I could use a Visa gift card to put cash onto my PayPal account

I don’t think that works, but it’s worth a try! If not, you could always use a debit card tied to a bank account. Safest way to do it. Of course, you might as well just cut Pay Pal out of the equation and use the debit card!

To avoid all the red tape, you might consider just paying a trustworthy friend the money and he order on his card - then later you can get a credit or debit card…Take care !!

Debit and Credit are not at all the same. Debit is YOUR money. You can’t use it if you don’t have the money. Credit is “free” money, until you pay it off. To get a debit card, you simply open a free checking account at your nearest bank, by making a cash deposit. Then you just use the debit card like a credit card! A debit card is similar to a Visa gift card, in the sense that money has to be put into the account to use it, and you can put more money in as often as you want.
