What part of Australia would it be relatively easy to find barista/cafe work?
I’m looking into (again) moving to Australia next year. I have been researching different cities and do quite like Adelaide but apparently their rate of employment is quite low. I have family in Sydney, but I think the rent would be too high there, same with Melbourne. What part of Australia has an okay economy right now? and in what cities would it be easier to get cafe work?
Try the Gold Coast, it has a lot of cafes and what not, you’ll get work in no time and you might find cheap rent as well, it’s a matter of looking
I’m not sure about the capital cities but I’m pretty sure rent is high in all of them. I live in North Queensland and rent isn’t too bad here and we have a variety of cafes in the not so small towns.
The gold coast definately would be the best place to look for a barista style job right now. Not sure about the economy up there, but rent prices are low, and the units are amazing. Good luck!
