how should i get my parents to let me walk places alone?

Answer #1

It depends on what places your talking about and if its day or night…its not always safe to be walking alone. More details are needed here….

Answer #2

They probably feel they need to protect you from strangers or just to keep you safe. If you feel you can fend for yourself, talk to them and tell them you want that type of responsibility and they can be calm about the fact that your growing up.

Answer #3

say ur walkn with a friend

Answer #4

I am assuming you mean walking down the street, or to a store. (please correct me if my assumptions are wrong.) Your only 14. It is extremely dangerous for a girl your age to be walking around day or night by yourself. Sorry, but if I had a 14 year old, I would be the same as your parents. I would not let my child walk around by themselves at 14. There are so many men out there, that are not right in the head. They look for young girls walking down a road alone, and they kidnap them, as well as other disgusting things. Some could even kill you, or beat you and leave you to die. Your parents are trying to keep you safe, they don’t want this to happen to you. I don’t think you want it to happen either. Just stick to letting your parents drive you around until you are old enough to drive. It’s only a couple more years. Better to be safe than sorry.

Answer #5

prove to them that u can be trusted, the first few times i strted walking places, they atually followed me.. it sucked, but if you prove that you can be trusted and will be safe. maybe they will have a different out look on it

Answer #6

They do it for safety, it’s not that they don’t trust you. They don’t trust other people. There are a lot of dangerous people out there. Jus tbe thankful you have parents and if you really want to go places tell them you’re going with a friend.
