Why do you need unlimited texting. my husband and I have it as part of our plan. we wouldn’t have it though if it didn’t come with out plan to begin with. I noticed though that until we knew we had it we never used that many text. Even now we don’t use a hole lot. Granted we mostly tect eachother through out his work night. I still believe that hand written letters and e-mails are a lot more meaningful then text. Or home made cards. You will save…what $60 not getting it that is like $720 a year. You could get a lap top or a computer for school with that. Or some thing else. You should baby sit your siblings reguardless. If you really want the texting though then get your own boost mobile phone and go with there everything unlimited plan I think it is 50 to 70 a month can’t remember. But you get unlimited calls any were in the USA and Text. It is a month to month phone with no contract and you do not need parents premission I had one at 16 my self and worked good for me. Of corse I was not living with my parents by then I needed it for college and work my self. But it worked well and I got good coverage and it is cheap or well to me. You should talk to your parents about it. But if you can pay it monthly go ahaead. Don’t go against them though. THe bible says to honor your Mother and father that your days may be long upon the earth.

Leos incase you dident know we are in a resscion. What makes you think that your parents are exempt to that??? Unless they are rich, dont hound them. Try this: Figure out how much unlimited texting will cost in a year. Figure out how much both your parents make and hour and divide the yearly cost by there hourly rate. Then you can see how many hours your parents will have to suffer at work for you to text. Maybe if you offerd to pay 80% of the entire bill they may let you have it but who knows. Remember your parents dont own a money tree!
