What is the best way to tell your parents that you're moving out?

The idea is not to upset them a whole lot.

The best way to to do so on good terms. Tell them face to face before hand and tell them that you feel your ready for this step in your life and that you appreciate all that they have done for you. It also goes over better if you have a good plan, place to live, source of income, etc. Get them involved, ask your dad to help your move and to set things up, ask your mom to help you shop for things youll need or to make curtains and things for your place.

Just make sure that you tell them the reason why, tell them the truth, there is no reason to lie. You are an adult now and want to be on your own, sure it will be hard for them at first but I’m sure that they saw this coming.
