Parents don't care enough!!!

I think my sugar level is too low or something. I constantly have to drink something cause I’m constantly thirsty. It could be a sign of Diabetes. my parents don’t care enough to get me checked out, but what if I do?? I don’t know what to do. I can’t convince them into taking me to the doctor and I can’t go myself. What am I supposed to do??

Perhaps you could make a visit to your doctor or something, but if you cant do that I guess you should just keep at it with your parents and stress to them that its got you worried etc, Or you could always go with the school nurse idea if all else fails

Good luck with it all :)

Check with your school nurse.

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

I wouldnt get too paranoid about it, unless you have diebetes in your family, other wise it could just be your body acting up. I had the same problem for quite some time but I ended being fine. try not to over react. once again it could be nothing. but, I’m no doctor. do what you can. I would try to convence your parents into the doctors visit. if that doesnt work, then perhaps a visit tp the school nurse is in order. they can do a lot for you if you need it.

hi ya, you realy need to go to the doctor and get a fasting blood test done, if you are ever having dizzy spells or feeling light headed always have something to eat, or have a sugary drink, does diabetes run in the family? There are 2 types of diabetes theres type 1 which is tablet dependent and type 2 which is insuling dependent, All I can say to you for the time now is always make sure you have breakfast in the morning and try and eat healthy food until your parents take you to a doctor, Just explain to them that you think you may have diabetes, and you want to go and see a doctor, you know if you are diabetic it is very important that you are diagnosed with it threw a blood test asap.
