Look this question is simple, It is illegal and I would talk to them. They would not want you to break the law. \

I don’t ever see it being fully legal. Yes for medical reasons. But I highly doubt I will be able to get high on my lunch break then go mask your dog down for surgery.

It’s not being a hyprocrite, it’s having opinions on different things. I never encouraged people to go smoke pot, I said I have no problem with it. Yes, it’s illegal, but that’s on the way to change right now. They have already decriminalized it in 1 one state, and hopefully more to follow. Comparing Shrooms to Marijuana is actually quite humurous though. Wow.

I would not even care, my dad talks about how he smoked and did things when he was younger, it doesn’t bother me in the least. I see nothing wrong with marijuana use.

Ok I think you need to talk to them and atleast tell them how you feel about it. You know I don’t care how old they are it is illegal in most states. What cracks me up is people come on here telling a 17yr old that having sex with a 18yr old is illegal and they can go to jail. YUp that is right. What I think people seeem to forget no matter how they feel about pot, it that to is illegal. Until a law changes, you can be arrested. I just wish people would stop being a hypocrite. A friend of a friend’s son, just got caught with shrooms, He is 23yrs old and now facing 20yrs in jail, It is a federal Offiense.

Sorry having a bad day but I still feel this way. If you are going to back up the law on one answer you need to support the law on all aspects.

Yes, it is silly to say “Well I know you wouldn’t want me to smoke pot then operate on your dog”, well of course not, but I also wouldn’t want you drinking alcohol (which is legal) before operating on my dog either. That is the point I was making. Just because it would be legal, does not mean that you can smoke it anytime - it’s the same way with alcohol.

I also wasn’t just talking to the original person, I was responding to the person who said it kills brain cells. When that is in fact, nothing more than a myth. You have your opinions and I have mine.

I never said that the child’s parents were justified in smoking it, I said that I would not care if it was MY parents. Obviously the poster is bothered by it so of course they should try talking to their parents about it. Not everyone feels that way though, and they did ask how others would feel if THEIR parents smoked. Thank you.

Why not - it’s legal in other countries, it’s not that far of a stretch to think that it will be legal one day. Also, I saying that you dont think that you will be able to smoke and then go operate on a dog is silly. Do you drink and then go operate on someone dog - no. And alcohol is legal.

There are a lot of other people on this site who will answer a question to a young lady dating a older man as “it’s illegal” and then talk about smoking with teenagers. You are not the only one.

What does it being illegal or not - have to do with not wanting your doctor to be drinking or smoking when they are high or drunk.

You are the one who said that you are sure people wouldn’t want you smoking right before operating on their dog. Well duh - who would. I also wouldn’t want someone drinking before operating on my dog. Get it.

I wish people would stop comparing it to drinking, the FACT is

1. Drinking is legal
2. cigs are legal.

It is a drug it has many negitive effects on a person’s body. I find in humours that something that is legal is being compared to something that illegal no matter what your age is. Wow

Funny thing is, I don’t even smoke marijuana. I just hate that everything that is known about it is a myth.

Driving while drunk results in millions of deaths a year, while driving high, doesn’t result in any. They have marijuana bars in other countires - they have no problems with them. Their death rates are way lower than ours are. Explain that.

Also, who said anything about smoking in public places…
