Can your parents see your text messages if you have an iPhone?

I think I might get an Iphone but i heard like all your text messages get sent to their E-mail & they they read them & i dont want my parent reading all my texts that would be weird so you guys know anything about this? Thanks.

I have never heard of that.. In the bill in Canada they can find it, but only if they are nosy… You can lock your iPhone…

I doubt that’s true for real text messages… but if you use iMessage(free messaging over the internet for iPod touch, iPad, iPhone, Mac), I’m pretty sure they can see them if your logged into the same Apple ID, almost positive actually.

But in the bill can they read what you say or just read how many messages sent, received and who they were sent to? Where I live we can only see how many and to whom….

Well now that you mention it.. My mom said she can read everything i say and get (said she wouldn’t read it tho) but maybe she was saying that to scare me cuz she always tells me I anything I say on internet or phone can be found
