What do you do when you need to tell your mom that you dont like your step dad but she never lsitens

I’m in the same position. I can’t stand my stepdad. He’s been around for about 5 years now and at this point I’ve realized that all I can really do is put up with it. I just take solice in the fact that I won’t have to be around him forever. I also just put up with it because I know that for some reason he makes my mom happy, and at the end of the day it’s her happiness that matters the most.

I try to tell my dad that I don’t like his girlfriend and I chicken out everytime…I would hate to make him unhappy again after seeing how happy she makes him.

Just look forward to the day you get to move out for good and make the best of the situation until then.
