I already have braces on my top teeth and there adding 4 more bands to my teeth which in turn means they added more spacers. Braces are a piece of cake no pain whatsoever but spacers HURT I can't eat anything and simply talking hurts. I'm curious how other people tolerated the pain of spacers.
Spacers didnt bother me at all, they didnt really hurt. Everyone told me they would, but they didnt. Getting my braces off, tho, wow. That hurt. I got my tops off a few weeks ago, and it hurt a lot. Im getting the bottoms off in a week, and Im not looking forward to it :\
They didn't hurt me at all. I've had a lot of dental work done, and the only pain I ever experienced was getting my wisdom teeth out..but that was full on surgery :S
mine hurt for a little bit after i got them and i couldnt eat anything that involed chewing but after a couple days they are feel fien they just feel wierd!
I think they hurt really bad, but after a while you get used to them. The hurt a little more then braces i thought.
I HATE spacers!!! They were really painful to me, in my opinion they hurt more than the braces.
Yep, those hurt like hell... Also getting a hyrax hurt just as much, if not more than spacers...
