a Monroe doesn’t really hurt all that much it really depends on if your body is healthy. I got my Monroe pierced about a month ago, and its doing great it doesn’t hurt at all anymore, I would say the pain for it would be a 2/10. but you would need to take ibuprofen for the pain, and make sure to clean in with 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, not regular salt, mix in with Luke warm water and take a cotton ball and hold it on your piercing. and to get the crustys off use a cotton swab with the sea salt. make sure to clean it 3 times a day. and it should be fine, and painless (:

Answer #2

No, they are not Dr’s, Nurse Practicioners, or Physician”s Assistants. The best I could advise is if you don’t have any allergies to ibuprofen (Motrin), then you could take 3 of the 200 mg tablets they sell over-the-counter. 600 mg about 30 minuted to an hour before you have it done. Then, follow the directions on the bottle—2 tablets every 4-6 hrs. Watch for signs of infection. Motrin will help with swelling and pain—Tylenol does not help with swelling, and provides minimal coverage of pain with something like this.
