Pain In The Neck!

I woke up this morning without any pain, and I haven’t done anything strenuous or moved in any way that would cause injury, but I suddenly felt a pain in my neck. It shot down my spine, and moved over my head, leaving a pressure headache in my forehead. Now I can barely move my head and the pain is becoming quite severe.

It started for no reason - I was only walking into the kitchen when it happened.

Has anyone else here ever experienced this?

I think I have, probably when I seriously injured my neck in foster care a year ago, since that day I watched every move I made so it never happened,I was seriously neglected as a kid in foster care.

Not yet, I’m sure I will someday. Could any meds you’re taking have any side effects? You should really call the doc.

Last January I had same thing after long car ride it first started in my neck then went down my shoulders.Honest it felt like somebody hit me with a baseball bat I couldn’t sleep and was getting worse.I used heat packs to no avail.Went Dr’s and he gave me a muscle relaxiant to no avail.also had massage and saw a chiropracter still no releif. Finally a friend told me to use icey hot patches also take take a vitamin called Co Q-10 200mg don’t look for overnight releif but a gradual releif. In less than 2 weeks I was pain free.

Answer #4

I had it once before. You probably just slept at a weird angle. It usually takes a few days to get better.
